The Bellhop Glass pendant lamp can be used as ambient lighting or as a task light, directly illuminating the surface above it with a non-glaring cone of light. The opening at the bottom of the lamp, protected by an aluminum element, is designed to direct the light (and change the bulb), preventing it from scattering into the eyes of diners. This creates a cone of light within the Bellhop Glass pendant lamp, which spreads evenly throughout the room and projects precisely onto the table, like a lantern, as clearly indicated by the colored aluminum ring surrounding the lower opening.
